MEET THE SOMMELIER
Rhonda has always been passionate about food, wine and travel.
In 2012, she embarked on a journey to formalize her passion
through studies at the International Sommelier Guild.
Over the years, while sharing her knowledge of wine with friends and colleagues, Rhonda discovered they were often overwhelmed with the amount of information available on the subject. It is her belief wine and food should be enjoyable and fun, not a source of stress!
By 2021, Rhonda was determined to find a way to simplify and consolidate the essentials of food and wine pairing in a casual and informative way. Thus, 'What A Pair Wine Tastings' began!

What a Pair Wine Tastings offers in-home, sommelier-led
wine education and tasting events in the Collingwood
and Blue Mountains area. (Parry Sound area May-October as well.)
Along with an abundance of wine knowledge, Rhonda will bring
a selection of wines and paired appetizers to your home, chalet or cottage for a fun-filled, informative tasting. Perfect for a
pre-dinner event, birthday, graduation or engagement celebration.
Ideal for intimate gatherings of 4 to 8 people.

The Offerings
FINE VINTAGES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
Choose from one of four wine regions currently featured: Italy, California, Spain or Canada. Rhonda will bring five wines for a blind tasting accompanied by a selection of paired nibblies from local shops and caterers. (The bottles are yours to enjoy after the tasting!)
Although the focus of each event is the pairing and principles of wine and food, the tasting is packed with information and tips on choosing, buying, storing, opening, tasting and serving wines as well!
All guests will also recieve a 'Write It Down!' wine journal , to guide you through future wine tastings. (While quantities last.)
Packages begin at $450.00 for 2-hour tastings between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please contact us for further details.
